thought you might this little story,had a customer
come in the shop the other day,can i have a bulb
please,our pleasure sir what would you like,a bulb
was the reply,no sir what i mean is it a uv bulb or
one for the aquarium,oh i see said the gentleman its
for an aquarium,fine sir what size is it,its for my tank
what tank is it then,what,was the reply.
is it an aqua one tank,or a juwel,with a snap he barked
back,its an aqua one,fine sir what model is it?oh forget
it,i will go somewhere that will sell me a bulb,with that
he left the shop,quickly i made a note to myself so as not
to forget,NEW BATTS REQUIRED FOR CRYSTAL BALL

hello all,
sorry for the delay in keeping you up to
date with whats going on in the store,as most
of you know,i never use the term it cannot get
any worse,because it normally does.
will i didn't but it did,after the leaking pond
what should happen,yes the boiler broke down
and as everyone knows how lucky we are it
was not an economical repair so it had to be
replaced,so when you see me sat outside the
bus station with the begging bowl please give
generously,of course it could not happen when
we had the two warm weeks it had to be on the
coldest nights of the year,i must apologise to all
the customers who did not manage to get in the
tropical house due to all the staff hiding out of
the cold,but i did manage to get them out,even
though they where kicking and shouting a bit.
we have nearly finished the trop house and
paint so hopefully we will be back to some kind
of order next week,and we will be cleaning all
the koi ponds and making them ready for the
start of the koi season,and the first imports of
the year,

paint job
hello all,
just a quick line to tell you all that the paint is starting to go on the walls at long last,and we have reopened most of the koi ponds. !! Be aware !! we are still in chaos so please bare with us as sometimes we may have to shut odd parts of the shop to allow for the refurbishment,and cleaning which is still to do, now is the time to start planning for the new season as soon as we blink summer will be here and blink twice we will have missed it. Lets hope this year is a bit drier so we can spend some quality time on our ponds.

time flies
hello all,
as usual Neil has been hard at it with the web
site,he is fine tuning and tweaking [his words]
and i am hard at it with the shop revamp,one step
forward and 2 back,i thought i was getting there until
the wife phoned me at work to tell me we had 3" of
water on the shop floor,yes one of our ponds had
decided to leak,so spent 3 days sorting that out,so
once again have fell behind with the revamp,
anyway hope you all had a happy Christmas and a
good new year,will do my best to update the blog a
bit more regular than i have been doing,and dare i say
blink and the season will be on us,

New Year Surgery
